I have a lot to learn with this new lens, but I'm eager to take the time and see what I can do with it.

New 50mm lens
For a while now I've wanted to get a 50mm lens but couldn't spare the money for one. A few months ago I bought a 17-85IS USM and no longer used my 18-55 or 28-105 USM lenses. So I decided to trade those two in for the 50mm. Lucky for me I got an even trade at the store and I was off with a new lens in my arsenal. With an aperature up to 1.8 I could finally get to have some fun with a shallow depth of field, woohoo!!
I have a lot to learn with this new lens, but I'm eager to take the time and see what I can do with it.
