Island Biking

Last week on a day when I got out of training early I grabbed my bike and hopped on the ferry and headed over to Bainbridge Island to take in the sights and sounds. Overall I rode 16 miles with about 1200' of elevation gain. Talk about a very pretty island with lots of hills!! One road was called Toe Jam Hill Road and it was steep.
I did manage to see some wildlife, including a Harbor Seal, male and femal Bald Eagles, Great Blue Heron, jumping fish, to mention a few.
A full set of photos is here.
